There shouldn't be too many changes since the new coach has been around awhile. They lose their qb to graduation but not sure of the other skill players that are returning....

Good luck Coach Hirsch but Redwood still wont get to the top of the MCAL any time soon. When was the last time they won a MCAL title? Who was the coach? It's been awhile.

I have been following Novato pretty close since around 2000 and I don't ever recall Redwood winning league. Novato, San Marin, Marin Catholic and Justin have won or tied for the title since I started paying attention.
BTW...SCLMCAL...welcome...we need more MCAL fans, even if you may lean towards the SCL(?) lol

Goes to show you what I know...too bad they couldn't transfer that success to the playoffs. Good luck to Hirsch, it will be exciting to see if he can make a difference.

Oops, MC actually won MCAL in 1998. I think that was the team with LaBoy.

MC was not in the MCAL that year or in 2000

MC was an independent those years, not part of the MCAL. Redwood had a good team in 98', but MC killed them 60-30. That was Redwood's only loss in regular season (9-1). Of course Redwood proceeded to lose in the NCS first round to a San Rafael (4-6) team it had soundly beaten during league play weeks earlier.

Is this info from memory?? It seems I missed alot before 2000. I can't seem to find anything before 2000. Who were the teams that MC played? Was it independent with North bay teams or south of the GG bridge?
