Very unexpected but true. No other information available at this time. San Marin should announce their new coach soon.

I am totally confused by this 1. Can somebody shed some some light as to why he quit 3 days after taking the job. For his future coaching sake I hope there is a reason that makes everyone understand why he did this.

You got me Bill, I couldnt imagine why he quit beside a personal reason. At first I thought it would have something to do with his backround check, but hes been an assistant coach for two years and have been teaching high school for at least two years. Maybe it has something to do with the commitment factor.

Maybe there wasn't a teaching position? Is Antonio still available? Would he take the job as "second choice"?

No, the older one is a retired cop, The younger one works for Marin County. They do have a nephew who I think is a fireman though.

Why are they not giving antonio a shot? Does he have no connections there?

Typical San Marin....Good Luck to Hickey. Being from Novato and with ties on the other side, NHS, I still like to open the paper on Sunday morning and read about a win for San Marin. Although I will always be a Hornet, I root for the Mustangs cause their from Novato. Hope things can turn around over there.

Great insight jed, The once proud and dominant football power in Marin reduced to the Laughing stock football program of the North Bay. Feel Bad for the young men who are caught in the middle of a bunch of JACK@?&ES and their egos and power struggle.(parents and A.D.) Novato by 50 in 09. Really is a shame, to bad for those kids, Good luck to them.

Well i dont have a problem with the questions, its putting the coach on the spot. Although telling someone to hire, you just dont do that. You can say that you should talk to this coach but its up to you. HAHA. Who was the DC bergman wanted harrington to hire?
