MCAL really needs to get some better facilities. You would think they could afford. They just need one team with a facility with a stadium and lightbsimularnto Racho's and they would be fine. Agree they did get hosed though

Agree they did get hosed though They can't no neighborhood where the schools are located will allow lights EVER, MC is doing a a huge fabulous upgrade to the their facility but it will not allow lights........San Rafael has held NCS title games before but it's not a very good facility and it's the only school With lights and also is the worst football program in the Bay Area

Not thrilled this is being held at Burrell either, but oh we'll! Some of you are killing me lol! Generally the games have been held in the area of the higher seed, but not always. It does make sense, but it is NCS were talking about.
I would guess San Leandro is maybe 10-15 miles further from MC than it is for EC? Not a huge advantage, but I get it.

don't know what ncs was thinking, the championship game should be "in the area" of the highest seed...not rocket science.
Many viable options: Rancho, Santa Rosa High, even Diablo Valley College would have worke4d. (SRJC for some reason over charges so no one wants to rent Bailey Field; bunch of arrogant putzes at SRJC!)
None of those 3 options would have cost much money to rent, I think.
And if the rent is "too high," just deduct the cost from the salaries of the overpaid NCS staff.
