I am glad to see that some people have recognized Jabari Young from Piner. This kid is very exciting. Meredith had him as starting halfback as a sohomore last year but he suffered serious calf injury in the second game of the year. He is an outstanding RB with very exlosive potential. He will also be the backup QB at Piner this year and should take over at QB his senior year. He has been playing CB in passing league and he is a true shut down type of corner. It will be interesting to see how Piner uses him on offense this year. I imagine he will play RB, few snaps at QB, and some flyback. He is definately a top notch NBL player this year.

With all the RBs returning this season, Jabari Young isnt in the top 6, but he could very well be in the top two next season. As an overall player, he could cause more of an impact on Piner respectively than any single top RB. Top RBs I would consider of the top of my head would be Keys, Erion, Sullivan, Atoe, Dworkin, Rosselli

Rickard is going to be a stud this season; team leader, great player.

Rickard will be the leader on piner this year.. another player to watch for is Blake Ratto, the linebacker from newman.. had a great junior year but was in the shadows of jeff badger and joe ferguson.. so look for good things from him..

I think Ratto would make a great Fullback. hopefully he will see some offensive playing time.

Didnt notice him last season that much. Kinda reminds me of James Kay from Newmans 06 team. Played next to Kyle Young.

Wow ben, u are going to compare him to james kay.. wow.. maybe u didnt go to the clayton valley game.. ratto saved them several times on 3rd down.. he can run the ball also. but i have heard good things bout the backfield newman has this year, but dont be surprised to see ratto in there...

Hey now, James Kay was a good blue collar LB that did his job well and held his own. Like I said, I really havent noticed Ratto that much, but on the few plays I did, he did what he was supposed to. With Newman losing so much, I hope Ratto knows what he's in for. (Cental Catholic, Del Oro, and an angry Palma).

Hey i have nothing against James Kay, he was a great linebacker in the newman system, but i truly believe that ratto is a different player, more like a kyle young or maybe even a badger if he gets bigger and can lay the hit on someone..

I would like to see Laron run for CN too . Kinda like a Joe Janowczyk from 06 CN. or dworkin from RC.

Yeah i heard that laron was also a possible running back for newman.. but they already have stout, green, and bowman already running the ball.. but who knows.. they always have a way to use their players..
