Healdsburg's QB this year will be Killian Collins, a senior who was the back up last year. Tall, strong arm, smart and can run if he needs to. As in the past with all QB's that play for the Hounds, Coach Kirkpatrick (T.K.) will have this kid on the right track. He has always developed average QB's to good, good QB's to be great, and great QB's to awsome. So far this kid has had a great summer progressing right along. He's got some pretty good play-makers at the wideout positions too.

Skinn- Where does Shannon's kid (Mcelvain or something) play. He looked good at QB at Ed Lloyd's QB camp. Is he still on J.V.?

The Casa back ups I believe are Jimmy Curf a senior and Makana Garrigan a junior.

Yeah Garrigan was a great qb when he played youth ball, but idk how much time he will see since he is playing linebacker already.

Healdsburg Has Collins, He is a around 6 feet tall and about 185. He is a very smart kid but TK has a project on his hands with this Senior. He needs to get stronger and improve his toughness. He played in a couple of games last year when Shippey got hurt. He did not play very well. The ElMO game was ok but Collins struggled against Petaluma. Bottom line, he was not game ready when Shippey got hurt. That's why Balasteri ended up playing QB in the Playoffs

Pops, it will be interesting to see what SR does. I hear they have a talented sophomore and their senior is coming back from knee surgery. It's risky going with an inexperienced sophomore if you have a choice, but they may not have a choice. Or, sometimes new coaches like to put their stamp on a program and work with a blank slate. I have heard pros and cons on each player. It'll probably come down to who is healthiest and best when the season starts.
