Hunn is not transfering to Newman. He is not even playing for Rancho this year. Hasn't been at spring ball hasn't been at camp hasn't been at passing league. I don't know why you people start these stupid rumors. The kid is not playing football. Period.

Well the thing is that the veer is conroys bread and water... he needs a speedy back which he has in dworkin and peleti-gore is a great fit for them this year.. i am not putting anything past hunn but unless he gets faster he probably wont see very much time on the field under center.. as i said before he could be a great defensive player in the rancho system.. i agree with rpfan he has a heart but playing qb on the varsity level is a whole different story then jv. I give the edge to peleti-gore since he was on varsity last year and did get some playtime

I watched Matt Hunn work out the other day, he was lifting some serious weight with a great big smile on his face. I don't think he will see the offensive side of the football unless something dramatic happens, but look for Matt to get plenty of play time on defense if he keeps up on his work-outs.

Like i said before, hunn should be on the defensive side of the ball he has the size to do it.. try defensive end or backer.. that would be a great fit

Who knows, Hunn could be the second coming of Grady Sheehe

Thats a good point, but hunn didnt play that much quarterback in his youth football days.. i remember he was an offensive lineman.. but i heard the backup behind peleti-gore is pretty solid.. tall kid has a good arm.. time will tell i guess

Where should i begin... lol. I have no idea who said i was goin 2 newman but that is pretty funny. In the last 2 weeks i have gotten faster, stronger, and leaner. I am now over 6'4'', and i weigh 228lbs. Also, I have been recently thinking about playing defense. I still believe I can start and i know i have a very good chance to play both ways. I am a very good athlete, and i can play anywhere. I have gotten a lot better already, in only 1 week of team weight training.

i wish i could air it out more, the veer is frustrating to run at times especially when the defense knows it is most likely coming. But, i did have some good plays with the veer, and i think i did alright for my first year as starting qb.

well thats good, but u have to remember that conroy lives off of that veer.. so u still taking snaps at qb.. or just playing defense?

Last few years, Conroy has had dual QBs in one game. 2004 and 2006 if I remember correctly, could happen this season as well.

Ben I dont know about that, i would have to say that peleti-gore is the solid starter over there but he could play some safety if needed.. this is a tough situation meaning that the spot is up for grabs in many ways

Matt how come you have not been to any practices or camps or scrimmages. you can't get in shape in 2 weeks and then expect to play..you are already way behind. other players have been commited the whole year. If you want to play it's more of a need to be there than just talk about.
