Since spring ball is concluded or ongoing in the NBL, can anyone list all the starting RB's for the teams? And who is going to be the star for the team with multiple backfield positions? It seems a recap is needed for this question "Leading NBL Rusher"

I think Stout, or whoever else Cronin has take the carries for the Newman offense will be one of the top in the league. With Newmans offensive line and team as a whole, anyone running the ball could have a good season.
Sullivan, Erion, and Keys are going to have great seasons! Would be something to see all three of them rush for over 1500 years each.

Ben, do you spend time with the team? You seem to know a whole bunch about that team.

I dont know a whole lot more than anyone else here. I know the coaching staff and a number of others that give me some good info, but I only spend time with teams when football season starts. I did make it over to spring ball though.

Ben, Sullivan, Erion and Keys are not in the NBL! What about the other teams in the league aside from CN? Who is running for Ukiah? Piner? SR? Carrillo? Monty? We know all about CN and Rancho. Those players shave been talked about! I think the back out of Elsie is over looked because, well he plays for elsie. I think his last name is Bert. Very good player. Maybe he graduated last year

Piner is still undetermined, and with their new offense, a number of players will be running the ball. I saw a few different players running the ball at their spring ball. They dont have the most speed in the world, but they make up for it with heart and understanding the playbook. Piner should have a good defensive line as well. One player specifically will be going both ways on the line for them that has some serious talent.
Carrillo I would think will be a lot like Piner, with a number of players carrying the ball. Carrillo will have a stronger O-line and more speed so Carrillo should have a nice non-league run. Their game against Casa and then Windsor could hurt their post-season chances if they go 0-2.
Monty is returning a lot of players and they short QB really caught my eye towards the end of last season. Im not too sure whos starting for them, but take a look at the returning players on the O/D-line. Monty will have a good running game as usual.
Ronald Bert graduated last season.
Im really looking forward to seeing Carrillos offense. Higgins has a good crew this year and should do very well through the season. 6-4 is basically the NCS cutoff ( the chances of a 5-5 team making it arnt that good). Carrillo has Petaluma, Casa, and Windsor in the non-league. MC has to get a win out of that somewhere.

Does anyone know what offense Ukiah will be running. I don't anticipate them getting too far from the spread. But I am not sure.

Ben, is the player going both ways on the line @ Piner a junior. I saw a couple Piner games last year and they had a sophomore starting on the line #53 i believe. He looked pretty good last year. at least he held his own as a soph.

There was a player for JV on Piner . I got to see him run a few plays when they played Newman. He hurt his leg in the 1st qt. Cordova was his last name? Will he be on the varsity squad this year? He's Got potential..

Santa Rosa: I talked to SR assistant coach today. He told me that the older Roselli brother was there top player in spring ball. He is their middle backer. He said that the younger Roselli brother is going to be a sophomore next year but is competing for the varsity QB job and he looked good.
Piner: I talked to Piner assistant coach today and he did not mention a Cordova from spring ball. He said that there two best backs were Shane Riveras and Jabari Young. Both played varsity as sophomores last year. He said that Jabari Young was a talented QB as well and being that Stiles was playing baseball for Piner ,Young ran the offense most the spring. Stiles did practice the last 2 spring practices and looked sharp.

I also talked to a Ukiah teacher today and he said that Schueller has not officially been named coach yet. I called the office and asked if they had a football coach and they told me that one has not been hired yet. Is there a reason Schueller has not officially been named?
