congrats to coachac and zorn for picking sonoma's upset over analy....tho coachac, you said sonoma would win as long as muslim got the ball but he barely played due to an early injury, making it all the more unusual!
final week
33-9 (2-1)
Healdsburg at Petaluma....I'm late on the bandwagon, cuz even after Petaluma dismantled CG I thought the Trojans might get tripped up in SCL but wow am a believer now...
El Molino at Casa Grande--Casa big, hardly a bold prediction..
Windsor at Analy--I"ll go with Analy, WHS defense not bad but i think Analy can score onthem and Analy really needs to get this victory for their credibility I think.

Healdsburg @ Petaluma, Petaluma, My Hounds played Casa real tough last night, but they just don't have the QB play to win against the big boys. Petaluma by 3 TDs El Molino @ Casa Grande, CG, this will be a good apportunity for CG to get back healthy again. Windsor @ Analy, Windsor after loosing to Sonoma last night, i'll take the jags.

I know you don't like Collins from your previous posts htown, but you have got to some new glasses, seriously. The kid has played extremely well this season. He has done everything we asked of him and more! I suggest you get a hold of some film and actually watch how he is playing. Last night 70% completion, with drops and tip ball for int. He has made some mistakes, but has played at a very high level all year. When HBG has problems it doesn't stem from lack of execution and results from the QB. You need to look at consistent offensive line play. We win and lose as a team. Our losses have not been as a result of lack of QB execution, and if you think so you need to really watch the games more closely. We are short of bodies, and wear down through a game; thats what has hurt us more than anything.
Petaluma will be a very tough match up for the Hounds. I expect we will compete. That's what we ask, and I expect our QB will continue to play well.

I'm not saying Collins Sucks, he's not great but he's is definaltally not bad either . pretty accurate, smart, He's just not up to the level of QB we have had in the past couple years that's all I'm saying. Healdsburg as I have watched them over the past couple years really depends on the QB, Whether it was Sindle, or Harms, or even Shippey those guys were very very good. But the O- line has played better and better as the year has gone on, It has come leaps and bounds from the Alhambra game. I am figuring your a Hburg coach and I do respect the fact that your backing up your QB for better or for worse, he's your guy.

I got your point, but you are missing mine. I'm not just backing Collins up; the truth is he is a good QB, with some real potential. He is definitely different than Harms, Sindle or Shippey. He is more accurate (most of time) and very knowledgeable of the game. Of the three you mentioned he probably reads defenses and knows football better; he is definitely more mobile. What he does not have is the cannon arm of the others. We also don't have the type of receivers we have had in the past; we are good just different skill sets. As for Oline; we have ups and downs; the numbers and key injuries kill us. Our margin of error is much less with the protection.

Petaluma will stop the Hounds on defense no doubt. Also the Petaluma offense is rolling and will not be stopped. I hate to say it, but they will win BIG.

D2 teams show why they are in a higher division next week.
With that said, not many D3 teams are prepared for the playoffs like Healdsburg and Analy.
