Great job on having co-MVPs. Right choices for the award. Never thought they would put King a first team...running back. Also thought Sherry or Russel would have been 1st team. At least one of them

Yeah, I know the Elmo guy is good, but with no team success to speak of they should have given him second team.

Co-MVP's, lame. The coaches need to step up one way or the other. Make a choice, but don't make it the "kissing your sister" tie! Just like the Press Democrat's top 5 weekly rankings. They used to have about 3-4 teams "tied at #5." Hell it got so bad Cal-Hi started making fun of the PD. Both guys are deserving, but to cut the trophy down the middle to make it easier is bad

If they are both equally deservig and had great years then why not? We are't gonna see a backfield like this around here in a long time

I seriously doubt Ricky or Sean have any problem with it so stop worrying about it

I've always been a fan of selecting one player for one position. Im with Bella, I dont believe in ties.

Ricky and Sean are very close friends and are a stoked about sharing the award. I understand where you're coming from Bella, but in this case it works.

Let's see here... I TIE my shoes... I TIE my tie... I TIE my fishing lines... I TIE up my phone line. Then why can't we TIE the MVP!? Exactly, there's no reason not to. Both Sims and Sullivan worked wonders for Petaluma this year, what else is there to say? Nothing. Who would you choose over the other? Exactly. End of discussion right now, they are TIED and it doesn't matter anymore. Next subject.

The tie is a cop out, I agree 100 percent. One should have been MVP and the other Back of the year, sorry Keys, you are just a first teamer. I heard they thought about having Sims or Sullivan share it with King! The tie is just absurd because it only works in certain situations, like when the two are best friends like these two. A tie between two players from different teams, who barely know each other would take away from how special the award is. Only one guy can be MVP, because when you get into Most Valuble Playerssss, those are the all league selections. What is next, a seven way tie because they have to share the award with their linemen?

I'm thinking a TIE for lineman of the year with Braden Lyons from Sonoma, he was robbed, second team?! Anyway... enough of the Sullivan/Sims tie bs. NEXT!

Yes, I got to agree with that. You cannot say that a player does not deserve an award. I don't think you have any way to say otherwise, unless you were out on the field... in that case, you shouldn't be posting here anyways. I'm curious to hear should have been the lineman of the year then? Fill us in "Big boy". I don't see a both ways lineman that did what he did. Great game against Newman I believe. It was hard to see him in the wash of that Trojan push, but on defense his presence was surely vivid.
