ha! but sadly true where is everyone? Two big name coaches (not to mention good football programs) step down in two days and nothing? Anyone have any insight on Analy and Windsor's options at this point?

The Press Democrat said Windsor had someone in house to take over.
Dunno about Analy.
How about Marcus Ezzeff taking over at Hburg? And Hoatiling taking over at Rancho?
Definitely major changes in Redwoomd Empire football.

Interesting about Windsor did not see that but then don't spend much time reading the pressdemo and not sure about Analy.. Rancho should be a seamless transition and they are returning a good core to boot. Hburg could have some good success if he can bring a good staff and get some numbers back.

Love the Morgue call Bella.
I had heard at the end of last year that quite a few Rancho parents weren't thrilled about the prospect Hotaling taking over. Of course that kind of parent grumbling is heard everywhere. Analy could have been the benefactor if kids were going to jump ship. Now with Bourdon leaving, that would seem less likely.
Sounds like Analy has no clear front runners coming from the current staff which means coach Simons will be fielding quite a few calls for an OC position.
Would be great if Ezzeff could stop the downward spiral at H'burg. Sonoma and H'burg have both seen their football programs reach historic lows.
Getting kids out to play has never been tougher with all the distractions and concussion fears.
How long until football in the north bay is a club sport.. 10 years..less?

A little football talk, wow it still exsists.
Yeah some changes going on. To me Analy wood be the big one. Bourdon built a program, depending on the hire the programs can go two ways depending on the hire.
Windsor athletics are a dumpster fire. Doesn't seem like much support at the very top. Could be a appealing job based on the potential resources, but I know some coaches who say it is just not worth it.
H-Town is a blue blood, it would be nice to see them back, although with their numbers now I don't think they'll be exactly what they used to be. I

Add on Casa to the list. Herzog and the entire staff was reportedly let go. I'd have to say it's not too surprising. I watched a couple of their games this year and they were very unprepared and out coached.

Surprising in that Herzog has been at Casa for close to twenty years but I'd agree they've been underachieving especially with the numbers and talent they've had. Not coincidentally, they've lacked a quality starting QB as well. Between Kickpatrick, Conroy, Herzog and Bourdon that's close to 100 SCL/NBL coaching years combine that may be off the sidelines this year.

The move to the NBL was not a good one in the long haul for them. They are a baseball school first and foremost. P-Town itself is a baseball and soccer town.

man oh man this should ge the site out of the morgue for a little while.. IMO between the three openings I think Windsor has the most upside (except apparently the administration but talent coming up) followed by Analy (which could lose talent back to Rancho and either way could be starting a rebuilding phase) then Casa (In rebuilding and could be there for awhile) but those are big programs that need filling and who is out there to apply??

Agree, but I'd say Analy is the most stable job to walk into right now.
Windsor seems to have everything you'd want (knights program as a fedeer, young family envirornment etc) but a Admin which is really hard to work for and not a lot of support from within.
Casa? Some really good athletes (they've always had athletes), but Petaluma is changing. It's getting very expensive and down the road it's going to be more white and gray like Marin. With the right coaches it still can be a a great job (Gondola built a football culture there). But I think what we've seen the past few years in the NBL is where they will be.

Next year is going to be very interesting with so many new coaches in the north bay. Rancho should have a smooth transition and will be in position to compete for the NBL title with Newman. In the SCL, I would be shocked if analy's dominance of that league comes to an end with the staff leaving
