Good hire for Windsor. Good for Cronin and his family. Kind of expected it because Newman didn't really seem to have a lot coming down the pipeline (for Newman standards). I assumed last year was a "last hurrah " for him.
So who takes over at Newman?

Tony Saiz take over CN?
CN never seems to be in rebuilding mode. Maybe Cronin is looking for better pay / better future pension??

Teams that never seem to be in rebuilding mode is probably a sign that they have a good staff. With Cronin gone, it may be a different story, especially if most of his staff leaves also

Bottom line It's still Newman. Outside of Marin Catholic it is arguably the the best job in the Empire. I'd expect a lot of interest in the job. They'll be fine down the road.
Will be curios what Windsors commitment is. They've had good coaches in the past (Gatrell, Davis etc) and have managed to screw it up. Maybe a new direction by the Admin towards athletics?
