The NCS met today and voted 5-2 for a contingency plan if games cannot be played this weekend. This applies to Div. II - V only. If games cannot be played this weekend, the brackets will continue through the semi-finals. After two teams make it to the championship (if the teams have not played during the regular season), a coin flip will be used to determine the division championship who will go onto the Nor-Cal championship. If the teams did play during the regular season, the winner of that game will be named the champion.
Example: Cardinal Newman and Eureka win their respective NCS semifinal games. Since they have not played, a coin flip will be used to determine the champ and who will move onto Nor-Cals. To be crystal clear, this only happens if games cannot be played this weekend.

It’s pretty safe to assume there won’t be any games played this weekend. Now the question has to be who will be most negatively effected by such a long layoff?

Well there goes games this weekend, they are officially postponed. That means we will more than likely have a coin flip champ for Div. III and IV. Div. II will be a coin flip unless Campolindo beats Bishop O'Dowd; in that case Rancho, with their head to hear win over Campo, would be the champ. Div. V is a little muddy. Either Kelseyville, Middletown, or Cloverdale will be one of the semi-finals winners. If the other semi-final winner is Salesian, it's a coin flip. If the other winner is either Stellar Prep or Berean Christian, there are a lot of head to heads with Kelseyville, Middletown, and Cloverdale to consider.
