Ok... Monty has a shot at a top three, but its going to take a lot of work on the players behalf. The Viking coaching staff is top of the line, and they are returning a lot of players on both sides of the ball. Towards the end of last season, QB Max Heller really helped turn the offense around. Should he play every minute he physically can, Monty should do well. However, just because a lot of players are returning from the last years previous team doesnt mean there is going to be success. Monty was 4-5-1 last season, so the only thing I'll go with at this moment is they will at least be better than 4-5-1 this season. Right now, Monty has to prove it. For that matter, so does Windsor and Petaluma, whos stud senior class has yet to finish above .500 the last two seasons... :-)

Reliable information is telling me that Newman got a stud transfer from somewhere in Lake County. Can anyone confirm who the player is, what school he came from, or what position he plays. Come on Ben, I know you have Cronin on speed dial...lol

Newman's biggest loss this year will be their defensive coordinator. Hard to replace him

I was only messin with you guys , No Reggie Hammond is going to Newman. Now that's funny. Although there may be extremest against CN that say the above statement is just a cover-up, and that you're now just covering your tracks after first letting the cat out of the bag.LOL

We are not going to have another year of "Cardinal Recruits" are we, teams just need to man up and coach up to beat a private school. Every year every area has kids go to Newman, that is the way it is. It is people that make it such a big deal to the kids , like going there makes them unbeatable. They are just kids playing a GAME, lets have fun this year and try to keep the recruiting talk down to a minimum

That is pretty funny. When you first posted I was a little suspicious. If you would have said Jack Cates was also transfering then I might have been a little quicker.
rcfan I agree on the recruiting talk. I was just trying to have a little fun. Your post hit the nail on the head.
