Since this seems to be such a big topic lately and its actually going on right now(unlike the play-offs). Maybe we could get some insight or updates on something current?
How many are going on right now? I know of the JC's and Petaluma's.
What are coaches take on etiquette during passing league?
What teams and players look good so far?

SRJC passing league is attended by Casa, Newman, Monty, Piner, Santa Rosa, Elsie Allen, Healdsburg, St. Helena, Analy, and El Molino. The best looking team defense has been Monty. The best looking team offense has been Newman. The best team WR group has been Newman The best WR has been from Casa- Waggoner I believe is his name The top 3 QB's in my opinion have been 1. El Molino QB (don't know his name) big, strong, accurate arm 2. Sherry-Casa big, strong arm, great footwork 3. Stiles-Piner experience, accurate arm

Healdsburg has a good defense. I saw their Corner pick CN three times . Heladsburg should surprise some people this year

This is passing league. Wait until the hitting starts before opinions are solidified. And by the way, how did Sullivan get passed up in the RB group? Let me give you dollar so you can buy a clue.

Even if Sullivan was at SRJC passing league I doubt he would be in the RB group anyway. If he was that just shows you how PL does not equate to football.
A triple option RB is not realistically going to do much on the receiving end. Option team like Petaluma (or Rancho or any other) should go to PL. But how realistic is it when they start running 5 guys in a pattern, backs coming out of the backfield etc. I can't remember a back from Petaluama ever having more than 25-30 catches in a season. So a guy like Sullivan or any other back from that type of offense can be impressive in PL, but when the "real" season starts he won't be catching too many passes.
PL is a good tool, but isn't a great indicator overall of a team. Yes it is good for QB's, WR's for timing and all that. But, you see teams that play an aggresive defense and will blitz all year and come PL they are dropping 8 in coverage, which you would never see in a real game.
Like I said, I think PL is great, but I think we need to take it for what it is

Insidezone, I stand corrected. I missed the SRJC statement.

Just came back from the Petaluma passing league. St. Vinny, Sonoma, Petaluma, Racho and other team with white shiirts was there. This is the first time I saw the QB from Sonoma. The guy is a stud! Very relaxed and really could chuck the pig skin. Plus his deliver was fast and fluid. I have no clue who he is, but I was impressed.
Petaluma made mince meat out of Rancho, which is unusual. Perhaps Rancho was missing some key players.

Rancho's passing game will look alot better when the other team is putting 8 players in the box to stop the veer. When teams drop 6-7-and even 8 players into coverage in passing leagues you should not expect much. Rancho is not going to run a 5WR no RB set to look good in passing league. Rancho will be fine.

I have not seen the Petaluma passing league so I dont want to leave teams out but when watching the SRJC Passing league I am most impressed with CASA because they stick with the same offense you will see them run in games. Alot of play action and short controlled passes. This will benefit them the most when the pads come out. You will see some teams running five WR sets and taking 5 seconds to throw a pass (Analy) Good luck with that with a pass rush
