Ran across something I didn't expect to see when I was taking a look at Eureka's opponents. Shasta, who Eureka plays in week #0 has a junior QB with a familiar last name.
Clay Cavender 5'6" 140 Junior QB/CB
I remember when this kid was only waist high in 2001 when i went to school with his brother Chris at Carrillo. Telling from his current height I would guess he hasn't grown much, haha.

Shasta should play Casa. 5' 6" versus 6' 5". That would be so bizarre! I bet size would matter.

I bet speed would matter too. That Shasta QB has been clocked at a legit 4.4 40 time. If he is allowed to get outside the pocket and in the open field, it's over.

LOL, no i hear they already have their eye on the JV QB from Elsie Allen. Might just grab him out of high school.
