Jake Zanutto and DJ King because they both have minimal help from receivers and weak running games. DJ King is the running and passing game for Windsor. Zanutto and Matt Sullivan from CN are going to be great QB's one day. Looking forward to watching them both grow.

The kid from Elmo. He has no talent around him and still does great week to week. You have to remeber the kind of talent Sherry got around him, im not saying hes not one of thee best around because he is, but i would take the elmo kid. Plus you bring heat on Sherry like PHS did Sherry doesnt look to good.

DJ King is the best "athlete" at QB. Sherry and Pierson are the best QB's IMO.
The supporting talent argument goes both ways. If El Molino had a better running game, Pierson wouldnt be showcased so much. On the flip side Sherry doesnt have to be "The Guy" so he doesnt stand out as much as he possibly could (not saying he doesnt stand out).
Still, I think Pierson gets the nod for still being productive when he is the focus of the opposing defense. Plus he stands in the pocket against a rush better than Sherry. Which is Sherry's biggest weakness. I do believe with experience Sherry will get better at it.
I think both Qb's have a legit chance at playing at the next level.

Elmer15...do you have any clue about hs football or Analy. You stated above that Zanutto has minimal help from receivers. You have absolutely no clue then and are speaking out of your azz. Chris Bostock in my opinion is the best WR in Sonoma County this year. Then they have Ryan Berreta who is 6'4" and has is a great red zone WR. Beretta has several touchdowns this year. Then they have a tremendous slot receiver in #5, can't remember his name but he is a great athlete. Analy has the best top to bottom WR core in Sonoma County. Their line is weak and their running game below average but they have outstanding WR's. Here is a dollar........go buy a clue

i agree with gomonty. analy has close to the best wr core in the empire. Zanutto is only as good as his recievers are. this will be proved in the next couple years when his recievers graduate and he doesn't have the same talent around him.

It honestly wouldn't work without Zanutto. When I watched them I saw him making perfect throws all night. They are both tall, but slow he was constantly finding them open. Great field vision. Also a strong leader as only a sophmore. I feel your comment was rude and you were the one speaking out of your azz. I know plenty about the game trust me.

I am going to wait and see about Zanutto. He is young and next year he should be bigger, faster, and more experienced. I like Sherry, Pierson (El Molino) and Wheless (St. Vinny) for playing on at the next level. They have size and great arms.
I sure like DJ King for pure guts and ability. He was making passes against Petaluma that were unbelievable. He did what ever it took to find an open receiver. I don't know if he will play on as a QB , but his desire should keep him playing football at college. He reminds me a lot of Matt O'Brien during the 2009 All Star game (NCL vs SCL). DJ's physical conditioning must be extraordinary!

Before this week, I had not seen King play QB since the 2nd week of the season, where I didn't think he looked that great. But after the Petaluma game, I'm prepared to include him in the discussion of the county's best QB. I honestly didn't realize how strong his arm is as he zipped some great passes against the Trojans.
So considering his ability to run, I may make him my SCL QB.

My top QB for the SCL is still Nick Sherry from Casa Grande. Was pretty impressed from what I saw against Healdsburg, he did have the one INT but otherwise had a pretty solid game. Plus they were without Keys in that game as well so a lot more pressure went onto Sherry's sholders, this guy is only a Jr. I am look for him to have a huge year next season.

Stiles from S.R. is to passer in NBL. over 300 yards and 4 TD's against Ukiah, 200 and 1 TD against Rancho with several dropped passes, 200 yards against Carillo, 21-26 165 yard first half against Santa Rosa, 6/7 for 85 and 3 touchdowns in limited action against Elsie. He cant run like the other QB's but he can throw it. Terrible game against Newman though with 4 Picks.
