Good article. Sounds like a great kid. When the head coach says he brings the TEAM together that is a great compliment and the sign of a true leader. Good luck to both teams tonight. Big game!!!!!!

I wonder if they duct tape DJ back together after each game. That kid is really giving it all!

When I was thinking of my mid-season all Empire Team, I didn't have D.J. King on the offensive team. Because he's not the county's best QB. And he's not the county's best RB. But he may be the county's best offensive player. And when you consider his defense, there's a strong argument he's the Player of the Year.

D.J worked his butt off this off season to be able to play both ways. A big thanks to Trent, Larry and Justin at SPD Factory for kicking his butt every week. You look at the top SCL players and all of them work out there it makes a big difference!

Good point about POY at this point not sure anyone can or would argue that he does not deserve the award out right. Considering what he has done as the total package he has my vote.
