This is a witch hunt. I just dont see the reason. Given Windsors JV hasnt lost in three years, and their Frosh has also been dominate, Varsity is a different issue. Not only are the players and match ups different, but the coaches as different. Instead of coaching against good JV coaches, you are coaching against the Redwood Empires best. Fayter needs to be exactly where he is. Its terrible we are even taking about Fayter right now. Coach, if your on this board, keep it up!

Very True! Easy to say what coaches should have done on a Saturday morning, but its the coaches that spend all day studying film and preping for games. Practice and games are more than just talk.

I don't know zorn that's a good question. I see this as a witch hunt as Ben said, and you know how most witch hunts end, the coach gets run out of town. So if that's what Windsor wants that's what they'll do. Who knows maybe the program will find there guy, the guy that will lead the program to winning more football games. But chances are they will never find that guy and they will be stuck with average at best teams.

Well after last nights loss, Windsor isnt just a 6-4 team, but they are an overtime win from being 5-5. That does create a problem, and a lot will depend on what happens in the playoffs.

Maybe Fayter doesn't want to stay anyway. He's been there, turned the program from dismal to respectful. As htown707 said, maybe someone else will take them to higher grounds. But overall Fayter has been there for several years and done a good job. However it might be time to move on, he might be burned out. The days of the Ellison's, Fanchi's O'Meara's are over. Guys are not gonna stick around 30-35 years anymore. It is way to much dedication and demand required. It has become a year round job. If you have family (especially young ), other career etc. it can be brutal.

Ben Windsor would not be in this position if Fayter was a better coach. I have been to all of the games this year and from what I can see he does not know how to adjust or change a game plan. You can keep telling everyone he is doing a good job and its not fair to put him down as a head coach ..YES he has turned things around a bit. BUT does that mean he is getting the job done ?? That game last night was painful to watch! If something is completely shut down all game long such as the (toss) do you stick with it?? Yes D.J. King was on the sideline but why not try the spread? I guess you have to witness it to believe it. SAD!

Good points all the way around 48. I think everyone would say they expected more from Windsor this season. Yes, Casa and Petaluma are good teams, but a good coach finds ways around that and makes things happen. Windsor was hurt pretty bad by both teams and now with a loss to Analy, this brings a lot into question. A lot depends on the playoffs I would think. Its been about 9 weeks I think, if Windsor gets a win in the first round, is there any chance Cameron Erion can play?

I saw Cameron at the last Sac State home game which was two weeks ago and it looked like he was still limping a bit. I doubt anyone could come back the same year after that severe of a break, but I guess you never know.

Fayter is a good coach....not a good head coach....he makes bad calls...and the kids pay for it. I know the King was out but come on when your down in the red zone kick a field goal you need all the points you can running the toss. Also use other people in the toss like Michael cambell to give the other kids a break.
