I have heard from 2 Windsor sources that Fayter is leaving Windsor to be the offensive coordinator at Cloverdale next year.

It could fit. I do believe he has a connection up there. I think he might have gone to Cloverdale H.S. back in the day. Can anyone confirm this?

He did go to Cloverdale but I have not heard the rumor. With all the stuff I see and hear it migh tbe best for him to leave before they try to run him out

Fayter will not be the coach at Windsor next year. Not sure who the next coach will be?... they could find someone much better than their JV coach though.

Your right bbclayman, 29-0-1 is not good enough to be considered for head coach for Windsor!

He did graduate from Cloverdale and was also an assistant coach there before he took his first head coaching job in So Cal. Rick Berry is now back coaching at Clvoerdale and that is who he was an assistant coach for before he became a head coach, so there is that connection.
I actaully heard about this months ago, before the season started. So I don't think this season has any bearing on the decision if it is true.
Has Windsor underachieved the past few years? Maybe they have. But I think the true test of a coach is, did he leave the program in better shape than when he came in? When you look at a program that had not won a game in almost three years that became a competitive and respected program I think that says it all.

I was told that the Fayter family is about to have their first child. Congratulations!!! This move to Cloverdale allows him to be closer to home to help his wife and allows him to coach at his old school again. Coach Fayter, great job at Windsor and good luck at Cloverdale if this is indeed true.

Well lets see how windsor does in the postseason.. Who could really step up and take over at the helm of the windsor program.. There are a few names in the area i would throw out there.. Maybe Lance Badger from newman.. seems to have had a great team the last few years he lives in windsor so maybe that could happen.. What about Besancon from healdsburg, he coached at windsor a few years ago.. anything can happen..

All the unhappiness with Fayter. Hmm... I wonder if coaching JV's will be different than coaching against Varsity coaches?

Im with Bella, I've been sitting on this info for a few months. Its a shame Windsor couldnt have done better on the season so he could finish up with a good feeling. Their JV coach Dustin Davis will not be coaching next season as well, hes going to the police academy I believe.

I feel bad for the Windsor program as a whole, these people have done a great job building that program up. Good luck to both of those guys.

SCLMCAL you are 100% correct on that. Windsor has enough to worry about with them playing against Newman tonight they don't need a distraction about there coach.
