Who is the coach (Murphy) from the Vallley? Is it Tim Murphy from C.E.? If it is, that would seem to be a no brainer. After how he turned the Y.V. program around and built the C.E. program up that would be a strong canidate if it were him.

I also heard a youth coach from Windsor was going to put his name and and has been very successful in the past 10 years and well liked in the community.
Unfortunitely I think all these are just rumors at this time maybe Santa and Rudolf will apply?

Probably pistol with not much size but lots of speed...
I have heard a lot of positives about the JV coach but weather you liked Fayter or not those are big shoes to fill as he did a good job with that program. I am sure he will do fine if elected. Wish him the best of luck

THis is going to make me sound a bit naive, but why so much resentment towards Meredith? Aside from failing to win at Piner, what's so bad about the guy?

Dustin "thetruth" Davis. Congrats on the job. Good luck. Lets be realistic everyone. Windsor only opened the job for aplications for two weeks. That is the minimum time limit allowed by the district. Two weeks means they already have their coach and dont want to waste time. Cant blame them. Davis put in his time as JV coach and has earned his chance.

I think Chris Meredith could be a good offensive coordinator at Windsor with the right head coach.

Though I dislike Meredith, Id have to agree with you gomonty, Meredith can work some good offense, just depends on the rest.

Well now that the application date has closed do we know who actually applied for the WHS job? Does anyone have the inside scoop on that? Will they have a football coach picked before the kids return from Christmas break?

I have heard that Windsor was very pleased with the amount (and Quality) of applicants. Popular names from around the area from Youth programs, High school, and JC coaches are very intrested.

Here is a short list of a few names that I heard have applied or were interested in applying.
Dustin Davis. Has applied and is the obvious front runner.
Lance Badger. I heard from some reliable sources that he has applied.
Jeff Tubbs. I also heard he was interested, not sure he applied. He brings a lot of knowledge to the table. Has coached high school and jc ball in the area.
John Antonio. Heard from another reliable friend that knows the head coach at Casa Hertzog that said he was applying.
I have also heard that a few other youth coaches and former high school coaches have put in for this job. The high school coaches were head coaches before at Novato, Drake & Redwood.
If anyone knows of any others please let us know.

I couldnt go with anyone but Davis. Lack of Head Coaching experience could go again him, but looking at what little experience he has, its hard to get better than that. Lance Badger has done very well, and is right there with Davis looking at SOS, but Davis has ties with the program and knows the kids. Go with Davis I say.

Your sources are wrong, Lance has not and will not apply for head coach at Windsor.
Trust me on this one.
Lance knows that being a head coach at the varsity level is much more involved than at the JV level. He feels that to be successfull at that level you have to be part of the school, meaning you have to be there all year long not just at football time. This, and the fact that he is quite happy right where he is at is why you won't see him at Windsor.

From what i have heard Cerf did not apply at windsor he felt the job should go to the JV coach, but he is looking for a head coach job in the area.
