I've heard the final from Novato is: Miramonte: 17, Novato: 0
Hard to believe but thats what I got so far...

Congrats to Miramonte, good luck against the Jets. Proud of the boys, tough losses this year.

wow, talk about a team peaking at the right time, Miramonte was 4-6 coming into the playoffs, but now all of the sudden they have upset wins over Healdsburg, and Novato.

Maes me wonder how you go 4-6, and then beat Healdsburg... more over, how the #@$% do you beat (and shut out) Novato!?
Miramonte is doing something thats working.

This shocked the $h1t out of me, i thought Novato was going to roll to the semis....Miramonte dream is going to be crushed next week against Encinal, the Jets looking real tough right now.......hopefully MC can wake up from the Analy game and get ready for a real balanced and physical team in Ahambra

yeah mc415, I saw Alhambra earlier in the season when they played Healdsburg, they have a very good football team. They are big up front and have a solid running back that is fairly good sized but has a lot of speed. On defense they have an almost relentless pass rush, they saked QB Killian Collins eight times, and Collins was running for his life on almost every play.

yeah thats what im afraid of, if Alhambra can run the ball even slightly its going to make the passing game that more dangerous for them.......but hopefully in Adams we trust and we can hold the ball away from Alhambra and grind it out.....would love a rematch against Encinal in the finals

Not sure if this is accurate but I believe there were a few players out with injuries during the reg season for Miramonte including DJ King. No excuses, we scouted the Healdsburg game and should have been prepared. I'm rooting for any team to beat Encinal, lol. And that includes MC if they're in the final.
BTW: Is it possible that we may be rooting for MC in the DIII state bowl??? Never thought I'd say it but if they run the table in DIII NCS, anything is possible right?

Central Catholic would have to lose, and Marin Catholic would need to be selected over Carmel who will more than likely beat Menlo for their section title.

jeez Ben don't be so daft. an 8-4 season that ends shy of even the NCS semi-finals is a profoundly disappointing season. the worst in nearly a decade. have you not been paying attention?

LOL, okay, 8-4 for Novato is nothing good, but considering how most teams finish on the season, 8-4 isnt bad, its a good season with more wins than losses.

True on CC but Carmel has a soft schedule even in the CCS playoffs....I don't think they would get in over MC.
