The article says Coach Ellison wants Coach Krist to replace him. Cant imagine the school would go against his wishes.

Depends if Krist wants to make the commitment or not.

Krist will take the job. He's positioned himself for it for years. Its a no-brainer.

What Ellison did for the players off the field is what I value most and will miss most. As I'm sure any of you coaches can say, knowing the game is only part of the job. Much Thanks to you Coach Ellison!

petaluma's players, parents and school, have been most fortunate to have coach Ellison. It's cool that the SCL got to have him (for much of) his coaching career too! You have to wish Coach Ellison all the best.

Coach Ellison will go down as one of the all-time coaches in Sonoma County. He is highly respected by coaches and players alike. Petaluma's teams always played with class, and that has always been a reflection of their leader. I wish him luck with whatever his future endeavors hold.
