As an SCL man, I figured Windsor-Healdsburg hands down as best game of the year...but on second thought, there's SR-Monty, Petaluma-Rancho playoff, Valley Christian-Middletown playoff.....what are some other thoughts?

There's lots of good choices.
1. Casa-Monty I 2. Monty-Maria Carrillo 3. Casa-Maria Carrillo II 4. Marin Catholic - Analy 5. Casa-Napa 6. Rancho-Petaluma II 7. Healdsburg-Windsor
I don't know if I could choose

An underrated great game was Maria Carrillo-Rancho. Even though it ended with a 10 point spread, it was 28-25 in the 4th. And I believe Rancho had the ball and was driving.
That was also the game Sam Atoe simply took over on both sides of the ball after suffering an injury that initially looked like his night was over. In my mind, the single greatest dominating single game performance.
But no game was better than Del Oro-Folsom.

Again I'm with SCL fan, it wasn't so much suspense in the OT but it was everything leading up to it. With Healdsburg marching down the field at the end of the game and scoring the game-tieing TD. Then all they had to do was hit an extra point and the game would have been over, instead a high snap and the holder could not get it down in time and the game went to OT. Windsor of corse came out on top

Monty-Carillo...it was a tense, exciting game, came down the the wire, shrouded in fog...dramatic, well played, hard hitting, highly competitive...one of the best games I have witnessed actually.

Rancho Petaluma II was unbelievable. Rancho almost ended their undefeated season twice in the final minute.

MC -Serra. Game was still in doubt with a little over little over 2 minutes to go until Serra stopped MC's final drive at midfield. Some big plays (TD first play of game, fumble return for TD). Great game plan from MC's coaches, Adams power running, MC losing QB and having soph. come in and perform admirably and Robert Woods, just a pure stud.

Bella is right, that sure was a good game. The State Bowl games always seem to be a good contest, even though the south has been winning the majority of the games.
My top 3 games are: Monty vs. Santa Rosa Monty vs. Maria Carrillo Rancho vs. Petaluma II
So hard to leave out Maria Carrillo vs. Casa Gande II, but Im not sure if the 18-0 Casa lead makes the game better or worse. I would think Casa took out a number of their starters when the lead was 18-0. Then again, an 18-0 comeback within one play is something special.

Cant forget Justin-Siena going for 2 with only minutes left to secure a one-point victory over #1 St. Mary's

Thats right! The Braves also won with a 2pt score at the end of their 2nd round playoff game. Further to the South Salesian scored a touchdown in Overtime to win by 6 over St. Patricks that same weekend.
The 2nd round of this years NCS Division IV playoffs could be the greatest weekend in small school playoff history. Three Overtime games and a 1 point game decided on a late 2pt score.
