Riordan coach calls it quits. This opens up a great job for a Redwood Empire coach that is willing to make the drive.

4andacloud you're right if you didn't ask someone else would have! Don't see Peralta going back to AR though. I think he is happy with what they have accomplished and has turned MC back around after falling so hard in the early in the decade.

Good question, but I wont beat not. Would be interesting to see if any North Bay current or former coaches apply.

I was wondering about Feliciano since he is an alum of Riordan?

I think Feliciano's family really likes it out at Tomales. They are entrenched in the school there and everybody loves them. I would imagine John Antonio will apply for this job. He is a good coach and will land somewhere as the head coach soon I would think. Not to bad of a drive from Petaluma to Riordan

Just looked on maxpreps. Riordan's QB threw for just under 2,000 yards last year and was only a junior. Their top two RB's and top two WR also return next year as they were all juniors. Could be a good program to step into.

I agree on Antonio. Sounds like Felciano and his family are happy, but I was just throwing it out there since it could seem logical.
Riordan never has a shortage of athletes. The problem they face when facing the likes of BCP, SF, VC and Serra seems to be the line play. As far as skill players, they always seem to some good ones.

Jesus, how many jobs is this Antonio gonna apply for? Everytime something pops up people are throwing his name out there. I think the guy has applied for about 10 jobs in the past 2 years. Maybe if he stays at 1 place longer then 1 year he will get some good experience and have a chance to get a decent job. I heard from Ponce that Antonio wanted to go back to Casa unless a good head job opened up. Good luck to him. My opponion is he shouldn't apply for every job that opens up like he has in the past 2 years.

Ben, Sorry but I cant take anymore of this insidezone guy. He is a fake. He claimed inside knowledge at Windsor and was completely wrong. He claims to have contacts with Cronin which is ridiculous because Cronin could not tolerate a moron like this guy. He makes CN look terrible and he knows nothing about coaching. John Antonio is doing what every good young coach does and that is try to get his own program close to his home and family. Insidezone- GO AWAY!!!

Antonio applied for: Piner (2009) Santa Rosa (2009) Windsor (2010)
Within two seasons, thats a lot less than ten programs within a year. He helped Calistoa's program after a very tough stretch with Dan Connors, and then took over a joke of a program at Richmond. Little did he know he would receive NONE of what the admin had told him, and didnt even receive common support from anyone within the school. After two years of Richmond doing little more than shutting down their football program, he decided to coach closer to home at Casa. He does have a very young child as well, so with no support and a long drive, I wouldnt blame him Just so we have the story straight...
Insidezone does have inside information at a number of programs, I know because we speak via the board often and I have the same info (sometimes more, sometimes less). Sometimes inside info proves to be wrong, and its usually the source making an assumption that doesnt work out. BTW... I do not know exactly who he is, but I know he coaches at Newman, and Newman has a lot of great coaches that could have their own programs easily. Boa Alderson Tony Saiz Dennis Bruno Russell Ponce and others that have a name I can't spell, haha.
If he is indeed one of those coaches either listed or not, then I would wager he does understand football. I dont believe Coach Cronin knows who insidezone really is either, haha. Just remember, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, all I ask is they remain professional when voicing it.
I'd like to see John at Riordan too, but that means more time away from his family and kid(s?).

Insidezone at Windsor, where did you hear that?
With Peralta going to the State game in Carson, I don't think he would even be thinking of leaving Marin Catholic. Dont ask me though, I'm not too familiar with him. Im sure where ever he goes, he will do well.
