With Healdsburg, El Molino, Fortuna, and Marin Catholic going to the NCS Div. IV, whats going to happen to Ferndale?
Should Ferndale continue to petition up to NCS Div. IV?
I've also heard that St.Vincent might be petitioning to NCS Div. IV as well.
Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that Ferndale will stay in D4. There is no challenge for them in D5. Year in and year out Ferndale is near the top of D4. Fortuna and Elmolino will not change the hierarchy of D4 as it stands, but it allows these two teams to be more competitive. Marin Catholic and Healdsburg should be the top programs in the division now, but will be challenged in this ultra competitive playoff bracket. When you have a seven seed win a playoff bracket as Fort Bragg did last year, it shows a lot about the depth of the division. Lets not forget that Fort Bragg beat Healdsburg in the 2A (Now D 3) championship in 99, and FB did not even win the NCL I that year (Kelseyville). I think for the most part D4 playoff teams could always compete with D3 other than maybe the top 4 or so teams in D3 (Novato, Encinal, etc.). Marin Catholic should petition up, but if they dominate and win two NCS championships in a row, they will be forced up anyways.
