As of this morning the North 14 - South 1. And Ft. Bragg will probably take St. Vinny today to make it 15-1.
That is domination!
Should be interesting when the North gets into League games even though I dont think anyone will beat Middletown.
The South should be wide open. Maybe they'll all beat each other for a 5 way tie.

Good observation Dyno. Its good to see Lower Lake and Kelseyville winning again. Cloverdale and St. Vincents are way down this year.
Middletown more than likely beats Salesian if Jake Davis is starting at Middle backer and Fullback. He should be back by the Fort Bragg game. In my opinion, he is the best player in the empire large or small schools. When Middletown gets him back, look out!

Yeah not really surprised, the north looks much stronger this year. Honestly don't see anybody beating Middletown with possibly Fort Bragg, but if Davis is back you're right look out. Honestly I put Foltmer right up there with the likes of Cronin and TK as one of the top coaches around, large or small school!

Thanks for getting us to think about the NCL, dyno. Seems like time to retire the North/South divisions, as if all the schools were the same level, and back to the time trusted I, II, and III.
Great to see Middletown and Fort Bragg hold up the pride of rural small-town schools.
Cloverdale on a down cycle it seems....nothing long-term I hope, does anyone have insight?

Thats the beauty of Small school football! Most all teams have down cycles much more drastically than larger schools.
I'm not sure about Cloverdale, but it seems to me like they should be a powerhouse with the large amount of younger families that moved to the area the past few years. Maybe we'll see them step up in a big way in a few years.

I LOVE the South this year! Sure the best team is 2-4, but that means the next 4 games are going to be intense, the possibility of playoffs is real for everyone here.

True that, both leagues will be tough this season. Im looking for St. Vincent to pull away and go screaming into the playoffs.

The South is competitive with each other, and that makes for a good league.
Consider this for a minute. Clear Lake was forced to have a running clock for the 2nd half of the Middletown game, but they look like the favorite in the NCL South.
