Playoff brackets are posted on the NCSNBL homepage.
I think the Div. III bracket looks very boring. The Div. II bracket however looks pretty interesting.

D3 / D2 both very interesting. D3 Encinal vs Novato - those two have matched up several times and a bit of a rivalry...Campo, MC, Cerrito...great mix of styles and tons of talent in this bracket!! Miramonte in D2 - they pettition up? thought they were always D3 but may be mistaken. I had the pleasure of Casa Grande vs. Newman on Friday night - Casa looks pretty tough, and Newman looked like they could sneak up on somebody and pull a D3 upset. DIV - San Marin still snagged the 1 seed...after watching the game vs. MC i'm shocked how Wilkins was able to walk afterwards. I was thinking they would pull him out of the game when MC had it in hand in the first quarter!
Brady analysis : SM got worked! Could not stop simple dive plays. Cellis could have had 10 TD's - nobody could guard him - 1 handed catches, screen pass for 75 yds, just better than anyone else on the field. SM played better in second half, reduced to Wilkins tossing up 50/50 balls...a few caught for TD but just could not do anything at all. MC QB got knocked around in the 2nd half a bit and showed some toughness. big difference between last year's MC team and this year's - to me was they were MUCH SMALLER. No big power running back - couple of quick smallish kids.
fired up for NCS time!
Who has a better shot at beating MC - Campo or Cerrito??

I wouldn't say the D3 bracket is boring, but it doesn't really start till the 2nd round. The entire first round will be double digit victories. You could also go ahead and pencil in the top three seeds to the semis. #4 Analy or #5 CN will be the other semi team.

Can Campo beat MC? I think Cerrito matches up well - Pickett is the finest DB in the area - could body up Cellis...on paper at least. Hard to tell how good the run game for MC is vs. the Marin teams...Cerrito has a stud LB...don't know much about Cerrito on offense though - MC's defense looks as good as any in recent years. I will be rooting for Casa/MC/SM - and for NOvato to knock off Encinal! who's got best shot at Casa? I thought Porchivina was the best two way player i have seen in quite some time - CN took away his rushing game, so kid splits out to WR and made big plays on 3rd down to keep chains moving. then comes back on D and strips QB on a beast outside rush. Just a beast.
does CN beat Analy? Who in IV gives San Marin a run for their money? Last year San Marin played in the NCS championship vs. Siena - AT SIENA's home field! Didnt' know they did that? Where would the DIV game be held - assume it's SM-Fortuna??

Div. IV belongs to San Marin, end of story.
I think Analy has a good chance to beat Newman. Newman's offense couldn't make it happen against Casa and I don't think they will be a whole lot better against Analy. Analy's defense I don't think is a lot better than Casa so lets say Newman puts up equal points (28). I don't see Newman holding Analy to 28. Analy's running game/passing game, even special teams, just the whole package is for real I think Analy can win. I want Newman to win but my gut is saying Analy takes this.

In D2 and D3, I think the playoffs will go to the semis pretty much as seeded. Except that in both cases, the 4th seed is beaten by the 5th seed. I predict Concord beats the winner of Windsor/Monty and I think Cardinal Newman handles Analy pretty easily. In the D2 case, I think Concord got an awesome draw. In both cases, I think the 4th seed is overrated.
I like Miramonte's chances in D2. Should take Tenny easily. Northgate has had trouble with strong passing teams (San Marin and Concord). Ditto for Clayton Valley, though I happen to be one that thinks they are a tough D2 team that would rightfully be favored. Then on to the finals versus Casa Grande where Casa is really good, but not any kind of super-team.
My prediction is that Campo beats Marin Catholic in the D3 finals and Casa Grande beats Miramonte in the D2 finals. I do think the way Miramonte is playing now they can hang with any D2 or D3 team.

Pez is a genius I'm rolling with whoever you pick....you picked Campo to knock off Ec before the season and I thought u were nuts but I'm a believer now kinda feel like Campo might win D3 and still feel Clayton Valley will take D2 (like their coach)

Big upsets by Novato and Del Norte. IMO neither of those teams had any business winning those games.
Novato was overmatched and completely shocked a cocky Encinal team that knocked Novato from the playoffs last season.
And Del Norte beating an organized Justin-Siena team in Napa is quite a shocker too, I did not see that coming!

The Del Norte upset over Justin-Siena is a pretty big shocker. The Encinal loss to Novato isn't that shocking. I'm just kicking myself that I didn't go with my instinct on that one in the pick'em. Encinal hasn't been able to score all year and they were bound to come out on the wrong end of a close game or get in to a big whole.
The other thing about Encinal this year is that with all the close games their Calpreps rating is overstated. That is, Calprep counts a close win like a 15 point win. Their logic, and I generally agree with it, is that a 1 point win is tons better than a 1 point loss. So to compensate, based on some logic a win regardless of how close is treated as a 15 point win between 1-15 points. Encinal, with lots of close wins, got them all treated as if they won those games by 15 points instead of 1, 3, 7, 10, etc. I can appreciate their tenacity, but their Calpreps rating made appear as #6 team in D3 when they were probably more like a #10.

Miramonte beats Northgate 66-48. The game was not as wild as advertised. Basically, it was as if each team was running plays against no defense at all! While Miramone was potent on offense, I don't think they made a clean tackle all night.
I'm proud of how far Miramonte has made it this year, but if they can't stop a power running attack better than they did tonight then how can they possibly expect to take on Clayton Valley?
In all fairness, Miramonte played the smarter, cleaner game then Northgate taking advantage of one fumbled punt, and covering the numerous on-side kicks that Northgate attempted while taking one away from Northgate.
But all-in-all, for the amount of scoring, it was a pretty sad game.
