Sonoma Valley has faced three formidable opponents and has two touchdowns to show for it. Is tough scheduling the best way to prepare for league play?
Piner has faced three winnable opponents and has one victory to show for it. Is parity scheduling the best way to prepare for league play?
El Molino has faced three NCL I opponents and has no victories to show for it. Can El Mo break through at Middletown on Friday--assuming Middletown not still enveloped by fire?
Healdsburg lost by a TD to Lower Lake, but beat Kelseyville by a TD, and hosts Cloverdale Friday. Heck, that could become one of the better rivalries around, keep scheduling that one.
Elsie Allen's game v Lower Lake on Friday will give everyone a better idea of where the Lobos fit in the north bay football universe.
Petaluma handled a lower division MCAL team (Terra Linda) and now faces a lower division NBL team (Santa Rosa.) Opportunities for score comparisons galore.
Analy has faced three NBL teams, with three victories to show for it. Hooray and Hallelujah, keep carrying the banner!

Piner just inst that good this season. I see them going 5-5, and that is with wins over Emery, Burton (SF), Elsie Allen, and Healdsburg. I think they will pick up a 5th win along the way.
Sonoma is in trouble, quite un-Sonoma. I don't think they can manage a winning season unless they improve.
El Molino is having a down year. They aren't completely gone as a program, they've done well in the past few seasons and are the smallest program in the SCL. Just not their year.
What to do with Healdsburg. Without TK they just cant get it done. They did what, 1-9 last season? Could be another 1-9 year, or 2-8 assuming they beat Elsie.
Elsie put up 20 points and have a player at QB. Probably still 0-10. Just feel bad because they keep changing coaches. Kinda like Alex Smith at the 49ers.
Petaluma vs. Santa Rosa is going to be a good game. Im routing for Santa Rosa but have no idea who will win. SRs win over Fremont isn't worth much, and kinda hard to rate where Petalumas win over Terra Linda will fall. This game will tell us a lot about each teams season.
Analy and Rancho to the Div. III semis. Would be great to see them face off in the championship.

Ben, not sure that El Molino is having a down year, rather they are having a regular year after being abnormally competitive for awhile.
Surprised by Piner, they've improved so much over time, but agree 5-5 still achievable.
I'm thinking Sonoma Valley heading permanently down. School demographics not trending toward that of competitive football programs.
Unlike Sonoma, at least Healdsburg and El Mo have the excuse that their demographic problem is primarily just falling enrollment.
