Never had a doubt. Great players and even better coaching. St. Bernard's was an 11 point underdog and won by 7. Good game Crusaders.

St Bernards enrollment could be multiplied by two or even three and they would still be D-5. Can any of the metropolitan D-4 private football teams say the same?

Doesn't matter they are private school that can bring players from all over, don't they have an international boarding school there? The ability to arm their team from literally around the world with a top notch coach. How can the poor rural schools compete when they only pull from their small rural community with much less resources

I'm glad the NCS is finally looking at catching up to the other sections. Playoff divisions on enrollment alone is outdated. Thanks for a little entertainment on a boring rainy day.

I'd probably put Tomlin oas coach of the year in the RE this year. With Krist and Benbow there as well. I'm sure there are others deserving, but they stand out to me.

Congratulations to St. Bernards defying the odds traveling 12 hours away from home and beating a 15-0 highly touted SoCal team. Too bad the game couldn't have been in the muddy, cold, rain, underneath the redwoods, the way football should be played. It was hilarious watching the SoCal teams dressed for weather below 0 during the games at Sac State.
