Good luck to Tony. It's surprising in that Price was so much more qualified and he had experience with the team and has more time to devote. It's not surprising on the other hand because the rumors had keefer as a done deal before the job was posted. I am anxious to hear how they justify it.

The word is Price is looking at going to Carrillo. SR still hasn't called him to tell him that they gave the job to Keefer. After the two years he devoted to the kids, that's pretty messed up. I doubt he would stay, given the disrespect.
Anyway, it sounds like Keefer has a good crew along with him, so SR should be in good hands (unless he jumps ship again for a better job).

Yeah thats pretty messed up to give someone else the job, then not call 'the other guy'.
Price might find himself more useful at Carrillo. Coach Higgins is looking at a good team this season that could make a run for second in the NBL. Getting past Montgomery has ALWAYS been a problem for Carrillo, even this season with Carrillo doing well, and Monty not so well, the final score was a lot to a little. 45-7 or something along those lines. Price could be part of a program thats getting better and better. Santa Rosa is just kinda stuck and needs a coach to stick around for more than a few seasons. I'll be Keefer already has some troops ready to go, so Price might not have as big of a role as he wanted.

Sounds like between principal Goddard (used to be at Carrilllo) and some members of Keefer's staff that he's supposedly bringing, (old) Carrillo is moving in to SR and Price is heading over to (new) Carrillo.

The word is he is bringing some ex-maria carrillo coaches with him. That's probably why they chose Keefer. He's bringing experience on his staff and the Principal is an ex MCer himself.

I believe you're right. It looks like all the pieces fit together.

Former M.C. coach Menke will be D-coordinator at Rosa. Heard that today.
