I wonder what players are confirmed to play, and who will win the match up.

Anyone know who the head coaches will be this season? Last season it was Herzog and Meredith

Mick O'Meara head coach from Sonoma is one of them (do they usually have more?).

Yep, there's a head coach and a few assistants, I'm not sure who chooses the assistants though. I was under the impression the head coach of the team that won each league was supposed to coach the leagues respective team. Anyone heard of this?

Omeara & Mulas will be coaching the SCL. Merideth will be coaching the NBL.

Great for Mulas! Not very happy that Meredith has been taken again...

The reason Merideth is coaching is because no other NBL coach would commit to being the coach. The Kiwanis asked us at Newman, Franci at Montgomery, Conroy at Rancho and Higgins at Maria Carrillo. A bunch of the Montgomery coaches will be helping Merideth out I have heard. I also have heard Meridith will be the offensive coordinator for Montgomery. I wonder what type of offense they will be running? Pistol? I? Pro? Spread? Anyone know?

Meredith likes to pass, so I'd bet its more of a 50/50 pass run with 3 WRs.

Slow Down. I talked to Montgomery coaches and they said that Meredith is only QB coach and will not be running offense or calling plays. They also said Franci has him on a "short" leash.

That being said they did say he was doing an outstanding job with the QB's and was making several improvements.

Michael Mulas will be playing for the SCL. He can't wait. With his Dad and Mick O'Meara coaching, he will be turned loose on D.

This should be a very balanced game including special teams. Both leagues have great kickers.
