Fayter has done a good job making Windsor a relevant program in the Redwood Empire. It will be interesting to see if he moves on or not, but why would he? Windsor still has a lot more potential. I like Windsor because they are the only High school in town, the town is still growing, they have their own pop warner program, and they have excellent boosters. Now that they have a new field and lights, there is a lot of opportunity for any coach there. I would just hate to see Fayter leave now because I think he has brought the program along ways with the help of the boosters to where it is now. I think he is finally at the point where he can concentrate more on coaching rather than trying to lobby for lights, a new field, stands, etc.. The program is finally built, now its time to enjoy it.

Fayter has put his time in, has all of the resources he needs now.. It will be up to the Athletic Director if they feel like they need to change up the program, but whoever does up end up coaching at windsor, will they be able to make any mistakes without being criticize for wins or losses this coming season. I cant answer that, but whatever does happen, windsor will be in the news whenever or not fayter stays at the helm.

Viking2000 = Kevin Harrington. Sorry to break it to you but Antonio will never coach with you. You had a pipe dream last year that he would go to San Marin with you so you took the job, when you found out that he wanted nothing to do with you or San Marin you $hit the bed. Antonio really doesn't even know you and he has a staff if he was to get a head job and sorry buddy your not on it.

Fayter has done a lot for windsor program......but it is time for him to move on they need another coach that is going to get them to the next level. They need a good strict coach that has the drive and one that will kick field goals....! In the 7 years that Fayter has been there he has only went for 4 field goals...hum....and he had one hell of a kicker this year! i heard kid was kicking 48 yrds in pratice.

We can all say that fayter made mistakes in the past.. but he did what he did.. nothing can change that.. just have to wait it out and see what the program decides to do

Fayter is one of the worst coaches I have every seen .He use his starting QB as a hitting dummy, and got him injured on a wednesday practice before there last game. You could go on and on how bad he is. They had no summer work out, I'm sorry they did but JV had more, no 7 on 7 and there work outs where a joke The kids would get together to do there own work out because Fayter had no time. Most of the kids in Windsor football don't respect him, it's been going on for a few year. Its funny that the JV coach last year had a meeting with some of the varsity player and told them not to give up and next year they'll to have to have there own work outs in the summer, And after Healdsburg beat Windsor last year Healdsburgs Tom Kirkpatrick went in to Windsor looker room and told the kids keep your head up Windsor has more talent but we just out coach you.

All i have to say is that Fayter did his thing at windsor.. this year was really the last straw.. but who can come in from outside of the current staff at windsor and turn it around and get the kids and parents back into winning and supporting the program.. Its going to ask alot of whoever comes in next, because Fayter has left a bad taste in many of the fans mouths after a unimpressive season..

I guess I am looking at Windsor's season from a different light. They had the worst injury of the season to start off and then King was off and on with injuries. I'm not quite sure what he did wrong. I think in this world of win now...it has snuck into high school. That is to bad...

Homer, I agree.. Fayter maybe ready to move on and I can see why this is crazy. This is not even official yet and getting blown out of proportion. He did a great job getting Windsor football on the map and if he moves on best of luck.
I may think it would be good for him to move on but whoever takes over better be ready to and able to get involved with the community. That is one thing Fayter never really got involved with was the community and feeder program from what I have heard.

homer2 i am not trying to get rid of anybody. .i am just saying i sat with the windsor parents last game against newman and it seems like it to me that they dont fayter.. so whoever takes over will probably be open to the same respect.. but u can take away Erion and king having injuries but as a coach u have to plan around those two players and find a way to win.. and i agree with footballfan have to get out there at the youth games and see what talent is coming up in the system and get your name out there!

Okay fair enough. I just wonder where rumors like this get going. It really bugs me that a guys job is open to such debate. I heard the Windsor crowd complaining when they play Casa. If you went by everytime a crowd complained about the coach there wouldn't be any coaches...at any level.

Yeah true homer2, but it just seems like it has carried on for a few seasons.. and that parents want a change which i think should happen if needed. On the other hand if windsor keeps fayter next season how much slack will he be given.. idk.. But whatever happens for windsors program good luck!

As of now I know for sure that Davis is going nowhere. Second he coaches O and D and would most likely run spread/zone read. No one has worked harder to build the Windsor program, nor is anyone more committed.
The kids he has coached seem to buy into what he is doing and how he wants it done. As for his credentials - 29-0-1 in three years as JV head coach.
Played for Mater Dei (so-cal powerhouse) Played at Orange Coast College (Mission Conference) Played D2 ball at WVWC and UC Davis

No doubt that hes a solid coach, but at least from what ive heard, is hes moving away from the program after this season. I'd bet if he keep coaching, he could have the head coach job if he wanted.
