Tomlin is Piner's new coach, not Petri. And Herzog will be the most successful.

Do you even know who the new Piner coach is. This is not accurate unless you change his name. I guarantee you Piner wins 7 games this year and makes playoffs. Coach TOMLIN.......who is Petri

Tomlin's new offense fits his personel perfectly. I dont see 7 wins at Piner but I see 6-4 season which would be the greatest coaching turnaround since Piner has only won 2 games each of the past 3 seasons.

Ill take 6-4, that sounds about right. I think Piner has a good chance at beating Ukiah too. a 7-3 season is a big jump, i dont see Piner beating Newman, Rancho, Monty, or Healdsburg.
Herzog is going to take Casa to another championship, and a high NCS seed. It all begins with a win over Ukiah, backed up with a win over Napa, and then a victory in the Egg Bowl. After an undefeated start in the first half of the season, they should cruse through, with Windsor the last opponent in the way. Casa is going to be very fast this season.

Considering that Ukiah is losing some great Seniors, next year might not be a 8-2 season but Schueller will change the program, gain alot of respect from players and parents and turn Ukiah into a well respected football program. It's going to be a challenge but I definitely feel that he can handle it. Good luck!

The Vikings are the team to beat this year. Piner does interest me because they have always had athletes but no organization. If their athletes can execute the "fly" offense they could be suprise team. I have to vote Tomlin and Piner. If our coach truly retires after this year at Monty who do you think will be Vikings coach in 2010?

Arcata has released coach Doug Johnson. The new coach previously coached at Arcata. I believe his name is Ray Watson. Wont matter who caoches Arcata as they are down in enrollment and talent.

I agree Trent will be the most successful of the new coaches. But, I think that will be overlooked because this maybe the year that Windsor wins the SCL. Not to take anything away from Trent because I think he is agreat coach just that Windsor team is stacked with talent and a good coaching staff.
