Well in less than two weeks the first team camp (Ed Lloyd) camp starts at Montgomery High School. Casa, Montgomery, Santa Rosa, and St. Vincents are teams I heard confirmed at this camp. I know Montgomery will also participate in the Blue Chip camp at the end of the summer at Montgomery. What camps are other teams attending this summer? Which camps have full contact scrimmages that bored fans can come watch for summer entertainment? Help an old retired fan out.

Blue chip is a great camp to go watch. They normally have 8+ teams in attendance, with four team scrimmages going on at once. Two on the field and two on the practice field. Novato is normally one of the teams in attendance, and when they are scrimmaging Montgomery, both teams go at it hard enough to get any football fan's blood flowing.

Novato will also be attending the Western Sports Camp in Dublin. Lotta good teams from the east bay will be there mid July. The team enjoys going up to Montgomery to compete against the local Empire talent. Should be a fun month of football.

Rancho will be at the Reno camp just as they have been for many years. They leave the Sunday after graduation.

Piner is going to Tomales camp at the end of June. San Marin and Drake will also be there. They are going to Sutter (northern section champs) camp that is being hosted in Eureka at the end of July. Eureka, Piner, Sutter, Fortuna, and Del Norte at that camp. Fort Bragg possibly there. Piner is doing third camp at Blue Chip Montgomery camp in August.

Montgomery is in two camps I believe. The Ed Lloyd camp at Montgomery June 8-12th and the Blue Chip camp at Montgomery in the beginning of August.

We are going to three camps but they are short. 3 days in Tomales, 2 days in Eureka, and 3 days at Montgomery. We avoided the week long camps because we do not have teacher coaches that have the summer off. So we are not really doing more than others just acomplishing the same thing with weekend structured camps.

We go to camp at Sacramento State on June 13-16. There will be some great teams to compete against like Granite Bay, Jesuit, Del Oro and 3 or 4 other great programs. We should get a great look. It is open to the public. They have alot of field space on the practice fields. This should be a great camp!
