So again, if another coach or AD contacts CIF the player is ultimately punished? The HC and AD from the recieving school should be suspended for say 2 games without pay or worse? Hit them and you will see a decrease in recruiting for sure! Even Newman may slow down if Cronin's pocket book is effected

The AD or Principal from school he left are the only one's who can contact the CIF.
I beleive that if the kid left on bad terms ie not wanting to do what the coach says or just flat out being a cancer, then he should be punished (not saying at all that this is what young did). It sounds like the coach did'nt mind him leaving, maybe addition by subtraction?

I dont believe Coach Tomlin has any intent on contacting the CIF.

Again, it could be a "legal transfer" in terms of Young returning to his home school after a year punishment of getting kicked out....so it might be futile for the Piner coach or school to appeal anyway. But yes, certainly does look suspicious, tho I suspect it passes the letter of CIF rules.

I dont know anything about the legal aspects of this transfer but the football part I get. Jabari Young is a game breaker. He can match up with anybody as a defensive back and shut them down. He is a gifted running back as well. He will not help Montgomery beat Grant but he could be the difference maker in helping them beat Newman and Rancho. This pushes Montgomery to the favorite role in my mind.

My personal feeling is that he should not be able to play for Monty till next year. It's not fair to other students who have had to sit out a season due to transfers and it should not matter if the player is "good or not" that is not the issue. I vote for him NOT to play. Monty has enuf players will it really matter.

the reality is first he got kicked out of Monty and now he's been kicked out of Piner. Good luck Monty - you can have him. What is this poor kid going to do after he gets kicked out of Monty again?

first of jabari went to monty freshman year and never got kicked out he left because he lived in piner district. he never got recruited back he came back to play and see his friends jabari planned on coming to monty way before meredith had anything to do with monty. no one is recruiting monty isnt newman.
