I heard today that it will be at the end of the month, does not give the new coach much time to get things going. Hopefully they all have staffs lined up.

Any well prepared coach would have the staff lined up. Its not like this process has happened over night, they have had ample time to get things in order. One thing can be said of all the applicants, they are very patient men. This will be a very necessary trait to have in the task of building up SRHS football program.Lets hope SRHS hires the right fit this time.I have also heard Keefer is at Carillo and have spoken with a few of the players I know and they have not seen him on campus as of yet.

Whenever gets the SR job should plan on sticking around for at least a few years. I really hope whoever is doing the hiring will keep that in mind.
Should Les Richardson get the job, it makes me wonder who will be next in line for the Rancho job.

I agree with you piehole. Any well prepared coach will have a staff ready to go. I am sure most of the applicants do. I also agree they will have to be patient. Turning around that program will take a long term commitment from the coach as well as the administration. I hope the administration takes that into consideration before making their decision. Not only who is the best coach, but who is also most prepared to stay for the long haul.

Keefer is at Carrillo - coaching QB's & helping Higgins with offense. Tony will do a great job.

Petaluma went to Rick Krist, that was a done deal from the beginning.
In my opinion I think Richardson is a done deal at Santa Rosa, but there are a number of other applicants that need to be interviewed. Santa Rosa continues to delay and delay on their deadline. The most current deadline is end of the week.
I've heard there is a dark horse in the line up for an interview. Dellepere wouldnt say who it is.

So all I am hearing is that the interviews are all wrapped up and Les Richardson will be the new coach. I heard he's exactly what SRHS was looking for and they were impressed with him.
