My question is if Richardson goes to Santa Rosa, then who is next in line for the Rancho job? I believe Conroy is going to retire here within the next few seasons. Wouldn't be so good for Santa Rosa if Richardson gets the SR job, and is still next in line at Rancho. Could see Richardson go back to Rancho and leave Santa Rosa looking for yet another coach.

Ranchofan I hear ya, its just something in the back of my mind. Richardson must really be ready to see what hes made of if hes willing to man up and take the SR job over possibly walking into the Rancho job when Conroy retires.
I've heard from one of the applicants that Richardson's interview went the best of the few that applied. I would only assume if there was someone else that is going to be choosen there would be at least as much hype for them as there is for Les. Anyone know when the official announcement will be made?

Given the last time I asked him was 1.5 years ago I would expect my info to be out of date, but he was pretty set on retiring after a few years.

I for one just want to wish Les all the success in the world.(except when you play us) Santa Rosa is very lucky to get a coach of his caliber and dedication to the game.

I asked Coach Conroy about retiring last season, he said he wanted to coach 8 more years. Les was wise to take the SR job if he wants to be a head coach anytime soon. Best of luck to a really nice man and a very good coach. Maybe he will take over the RC program in the future?

I think that is what worries people about this hire. Would Les be tempted to jump ship to return to RC or some other program.

I tend to agree with Jed on this one.
